Age Limit

Candidate must have completed his age of 21 years and not attained the age more than 35 years as on the last date specified for receipt of application or on such other date as may be specified by the Government. Age limits for some categorized candidates are as follow:

For SC/ST category candidate, Upper age limit will be relaxed by 5 years.
For Other Backward Class category candidates, Upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years.
Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 10 years for Physically Handicapped or Widow Candidates.
Upper age limit shall be relaxed in the case of a candidate who is a ex-serviceman, by the number of years of service rendered by him in the Armed forces of the Union.
